What we offer
MyDocPhoto brings together practical guidance and document-photo tools. The currently available tool is PhotoCheck for DV entry file checks, metadata reading, manual background review and cropping. We do not present unfinished tools as available.
How we prepare the guidance
MyDocPhoto content is independent practical guidance. We link requirements to U.S. Department of State sources and use Adobe documentation for metadata explanations. We distinguish official instructions from our advice and tool behavior. Check each guide’s review date and the entry-cycle instructions when published.
What are the tool limits?
Format, dimensions and size are direct checks. Head and eye placement and background review depend on the user. Software indicators do not prove the type of edit. The tool cannot establish authenticity, eligibility, acceptance or selection; official decisions belong to the relevant authorities.
Photo privacy
Checking and cropping run in the browser. No account is required, and we do not send the photo or its metadata to a server. Read the privacy policy to distinguish local image processing from ordinary hosting technical data.
